Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2025

TireSize.app focuses on minimizing personal data while offering accurate tire size calculations. This policy outlines what information is collected when you use the site, how it is used, and the controls available to you. We aim to keep the language plain and transparent so you can make informed choices.

Information We Collect

  • Usage analytics: aggregate page views, referrers, browser types, and approximate geography for performance monitoring.
  • Calculator inputs: tire widths, diameters, offsets, and similar values are processed locally in your browser and are not stored on our servers after the session ends.
  • Voluntary contact data: email address or name you share when contacting us; used only to respond to your inquiry.

How We Use Information

  • Operate calculators and display accurate conversions.
  • Improve features, debug issues, and protect against abuse.
  • Comply with legal obligations and respond to support requests.

Cookies & Analytics

TireSize.app may use privacy-minded analytics or advertising networks that rely on cookies or similar identifiers. You can disable cookies in your browser and still use the calculators. We do not sell personal data, and we avoid building cross-site marketing profiles.

Third-Party Services

Some calculators embed map tiles, fonts, or CDN-hosted scripts. Those providers receive standard log data (IP, browser, page path) necessary to deliver the asset. Links to retailers or educational articles follow their own policies; review them before submitting data.

Data Retention

Support conversations are retained only as long as needed to resolve the issue and maintain a record of safety-critical communications. Calculator inputs are ephemeral and cleared when you close or refresh the page. Anonymous analytics data may be retained up to 24 months for trend analysis.

Your Choices & Rights

  • Use browser settings, privacy extensions, or private browsing modes to limit cookies and trackers.
  • Opt out of non-essential analytics scripts through browser controls or by contacting us.
  • Request deletion of prior communications by emailing [email protected] from the address used previously.

Children’s Privacy

TireSize.app is intended for vehicle owners and enthusiasts aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a parent or guardian believes data was collected from a child, contact us to remove it.

Policy Updates

We may revise this policy to reflect new calculators, regulatory guidance, or data practices. Material changes will be dated and summarized here. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
